    Charles Richmond (The Duke of Richmond and Gordon) is Chairman of the Goodwood Group of Companies and founder of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. He took over management of the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex from his father in 1994 after a successful career as a photographer – a passion which he still pursues today, with exhibitions held worldwide.

    Set in 12,000 acres, Goodwood is a diverse portfolio of businesses which include Goodwood Racecourse, Goodwood Motor Circuit; a 4,000 acre organic farm; Goodwood Hotel; two eighteen hole golf courses; Goodwood Aerodrome and Flying School. The Group employs over 750 people and attracts over 1.0 million visitors each year.

    In 1990  Sturla created the concept of collaborative supplier management in Norway and teamed up with Colin Maund to found Achilles in the UK in 1993.

    Sturla has been involved in numerous business start-ups and turnarounds in various sectors such as IT/information management, oil & gas and defense.

    After a 13 year long career with Shell in various senior positions across several geographies he became an active entrepreneur working mostly out of Scandinavia and the Middle East.

    He is currently an active partner in a Norwegian Investment company and a Chairman of the Board / non-excecutive Director of various industrial and technology companies.

    Colin is the founder and CEO of Hellios, having pioneered supplier information management over 20 years ago.

    Colin founded Hellios Information in 2012 as the next generation of supplier information and risk management services, following 30 years’ experience in procurement and having pioneered supplier information management by founding Achilles Group in the UK in 1993.

    Colin, a graduate from the London School of Economics (LSE), was CEO of Achilles Group until 2011, and was responsible for its international growth into 26 countries before leading the sale of the business in 2008 to a Private Equity firm, HgCapital. In 2009 Colin was awarded the UK Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for IT Services.

    Prior to co-founding Achilles in the UK in 1993 with Sturla Sand, who had pioneered the community concept in Norway in 1990, Colin specialised in procurement where he worked for a variety of organizations including HM Treasury, CBI and National Power. In 2001 he was appointed by the UK Government as one of the two UK representatives on the European Commission’s Advisory Committee for the Opening up of Public Procurement.

    He is interested in the interface between professional procurement and the demands of Corporate and Social Responsibility. Colin was appointed a Trustee of The Outward Bound Trust in March 2012.

    Steve has worked in both industry and professional practice. In addition to being an advisory and audit partner, from 2008-2014 he was Managing Partner of James Cowper Kreston, leading the firm through recession and on to significant success including many national awards. He was a globally elected member of the Board of Kreston International from 2013-16 providing strategic guidance to an international team of 21,000 people in over 100 countries.

    Steve now spends his time as non-executive director and chairman to several companies in diverse sectors, and chairing Invest in Oxfordshire and national education charity, NACE.

  • Jeremy Cole - Non Executive Director

    Jeremy until recently was a partner at Hogan Lovells providing a wide range of advice in the area of bribery, corruption and fraud. He has extensive experience advising corporates and individuals in bribery/corruption related international investigations and prosecutions. This included leading various internal investigations for companies facing civil and criminal liability and providing guidance on how to minimise the risk of such liabilities in relation to the UK bribery and corruption laws as well as other bribery and corruption legal regimes.

    Jeremy was invited (one of three lawyers to receive such an invite) to give both oral and written evidence to the Joint Parliamentary Committee who were responsible for drafting the UK Bribery Act. Jeremy is the co-editor of the leading text "International Commercial Fraud" published by Sweet & Maxwell.

    Jeremy is recognised by Chambers UK as a `'senior statesmen" and described by Legal 500 "a powerhouse in the field".

  • Dr Steve New - Non Executive Director

    Steve New is Associate Professor in Operations Management at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Fellow in Management Studies at Hertford College. Steve began his career as an engineer, working for Rolls Royce while completing a degree in physics at Southampton University.

    After a spell in management consultancy, he completed his doctorate at Manchester Business School (MBS). This work was sponsored by the Eaton Corporation, for whom Steve worked while studying. He subsequently taught at the Manchester School of Management, UMIST (now merged with MBS), before joining Saïd Business School in 1996, where he has served as Vice Dean of the school.

    Steve has published extensively in the fields of procurement, supply chain management and quality improvement, with his work appearing in journals ranging from the Harvard Business Review to the British Medical Journal. Much of his work is inter-disciplinary, and he collaborates extensively with colleagues from across disciplines. He regularly works as a consultant with a wide range of clients in the private, public and third sectors.

    Les Mosco had a 40-year career in senior procurement, contracting and supply chain roles, both public and private sectors. After a 1st Class Honours degree in Physics, he started work in British Coal and has subsequently headed up the procurement function in The Scottish Office (UK Government in Scotland), NatWest Bank, Amerada Hess Oil and Gas, Railtrack/Network Rail and the Ministry of Defence, where he oversaw 2,500 staff and £20Bn annual spend.

    He now provides board level independent strategic and objective advice and has a portfolio of Non Executive Director roles, Charity Trustee roles, consultancy and as Senior Advisor to (amongst others) the Bank of England and a part of the Engineering Employers Federation (EEF).

    Rosemary Maund is the Support Services Manager with responsibility for human resources, training and development, finance and general office management. She is also Company Secretary for Hellios Information.

    For most of her career she has specialised in human resources and joined Hellios after being Group Human Resources Manager for a global business operating across twenty three countries.

    A graduate of the University of Warwick, Rosemary has undertaken professional studies in HRM and CIPD. She enjoys the challenge of developing people to realise their potential within a growing business.

  • Philip Foster - Managing Director

    Managing Director

    Philip has over 20 years in the supplier information and risk management sector, and heads our consultancy team.

    Philip has spent 20 years in the supplier information and risk management sector, having worked at Achilles Group until 2013. He was responsible for the successful development of services in a number of major industry sectors from design through to delivery, operation and support.

    An MBA graduate from Oxford Said Business School, Philip has worked with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies worldwide, and has international experience of supporting industry communities to collaborate in a common supplier information management approach across diverse procurement and supply chain requirements.

    Philip has worked at Board level and across business functions including procurement, safety, sustainability, quality and risk compliance. He has spoken at industry and company conferences and had a number of thought leadership articles published. Prior to Achilles, Philip graduated and worked as a Civil Engineer for one of the largest construction companies in the UK.

    Philip has been a Governor at a local Primary School since 2011 and was recently appointed as an External Advisor on the Oxford University Value for Money Committee.

    Head of Product & Systems

    Mike Hanlon has over 10 years’ experience working in the supplier information and risk management sector. With a product management background, Mike has led the development of many relevant product solutions across multiple communities spanning many sectors and geographies.

    Mike is head of Hellios’ product and systems portfolio. Mike and his team work across the business to ensure customer requirements are managed and delivered effectively and ensuring our systems are compliant with current regulations.

    Outside work, Mike’s passion is water sports, he is a qualified scuba instructor, keen free diver and open-water swimmer. And he loves to run, regularly involved in endurance races around the country, he has taken part in marathons, ultra-marathons, swim-run races around the Scilly Isles and a host of other events.

  • Kevin Thomas - Managing Director (Ireland)

    Managing Director (Ireland)

    Kevin Thomas is the Managing Director for Hellios Ireland, he has 30 years’ experience working with technology companies. Kevin has had a number of roles ranging from Software Developer, Systems Designer and Software Architecture but in the last 20 years’ he has been in senior management and leadership roles where he managed large numbers of technology teams and projects. He has a B.Sc.(Hons) in Computer Science from Technological University Dublin, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Staffordshire University and an MBA from Imperial College London. Prior to joining Hellios Kevin was Chief Technology Officer with Sportdec and was also Chief Technology Officer with MMX, Data Electronics and Voice Logics.
